i run the original sound blaster Audigy. I read everywhere that disabling the system driver under the Audio panel is a necessity to increase performance. but when i do this my audio goes away unless recheck it! Advice??
that happens to me too, i have nforce 2 soundstorm and i cant hear anything if i turn it off
i havent heard anywhere that it increased performance.
in ut2003 you could turn it off in the ini files and it increased performance, but i didnt lose sound
