VERY Low FPS in Nalu Demo...more than it should be

Just to answer questions:
2.8GHz P4 400MHzFSB
1GB RDRAM
BFG GeForce6800 OC
DX 9.0c
61.77 Drivers


Soo.....When running the 6800 Nalu Demo i get about 5 FPS (this is with AA and AF off).
My timedemo score in Doom3 (w/o AA or Vsync) is app. 52FPS

Whats wrong?
 
I have a 6800 Ultra and it runs at about 20FPS, you just have a 6800. What do you get, 10fps?

You can tweak the resolution it will open in, if you want.
X:\Program Files\NVidia Corporation\NVidia Demos\Nalu\bin\args.txt
change
1024 to 800
768 to 600

Or whatever horizontal/vertical resolution you want.

Also turn off AA/AF etc. for better performance.



Have you tried unlocking the 4 extra pipelines in your card?
 
nalu runs smoothly on my xp2500, 6800nu.. but i would like to check the fps. how do u check the fps on nalu?

Is that it????? my 6800gt run it at 22 fps for 99% of the time and 20 fps for the other 1%, with everything at stock and defaults
 
Maybe its the extra memory + pipes on other cards....but i just cant run it at all....The 6600 version runs 3X as fast or so, but im still wondering why performance is so bad..
