VGA TO DVI

Hey all, I am using a triple head to go to feed multiple projectors for a show I'm working on. The projectors that we rented (haven't got my hands on them yet, still in the mail) only have DVI in's, and the triple head has VGA outs. If I understand correctly, you can not simply convert VGA to DVI without some type of hardware encoder, correct?

My thought too. They are EIKA 10,000 lumen, it really surprises me they don't. Straight from the factory they do not, but the rental house might have thrown in a VGA input card.
