VIA Leaves Motherboard Chipset Business

Finally! SiS gone too? nVidia officially say they left that market yet?

Good, leaves AMD and Intel.

Via chipsets got the job done, but Intel's are much better.

I've still got via chipsets that work great....I think It's a good move for VIA.

yeah, I saw this on slashdot this morning...

I think it was sort of a long time coming, maybe. I've used VIA chipsets in the past- most people remember trying to always get the best "4in1" drivers lol....

For intel processors- intel chipsets have usually been the "best" in my opinion...
 
u forgot 790GX from AMD ;)
at least doesn't need the CPU to be surrounded by heatpipes
