This might be a noob like question but is there a way to view any open samba shares and if need be disconnect the session if need be? I dont care if its graphical or command line, but I am looking for something similar to the computer management tool in windows, in the system tools>shared folders>open files, which shows which files are open over the network and if I need to kick the user off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply so I am trying to test this out, however when I try to disconnect or close a share it does not seem to work.

when I run smbstatus I gett a correct listing of the files, how ever I cannot seem to get smbcontrol working..... err ok never mind I got it figured out..... thanks so much!!! :)
