I have a strange problem with my Vista 32bit install on my laptop. Upon a clean boot the system can either sleep or hibernate one time without problems. If I have it sleep or hibernate a second time it fails to switch to either powersaving mode and refuses to fully wake up either.
I have repeated this multiple times using both sleep and hibernate options from the start menu as well as closing the lid to initiate the sleep process. It doesn't happen on the first time from a clean boot, but always happens the second.her patches before this issue began which is making it harder to track down. it may have been one of the default auto updates from Microsoft, but I am not sure.
I don't recall any driver changes or ot
Laptop - Dell 1520 with 4 GB of RAM
latest drivers from the dell site for nvidia Video (OCT 30, I think)
Any ideas on what to do/where to look to track this down will be appreciated.
