I just formatted my raptor and trying to configure my theme but it's not working.
I want to keep Aero on, but i want to turn off the preview of the folder in the taskbar, and the animation when you min or max your window. When I go to do this by right clicking my computer > properties > advanced system settings > settings (under performance) > I uncheck animate windows when min and maxing, and also show preview and filters in folder, it just turns it into Vista basic theme, and when I reselect to use Aero, it goes back to default.
/edit - solved. apparently you have to run that stupid windows experience index shit before you do anything.
