Vista repairing boot sectors, where's \boot\bootsect.exe ?

I've been putting off learning the finer points of Vista until the 2nd edition of the Resource Kit comes out, so I'm stuck with what's probably a simple problem.

I need to access the Vista DVD's \boot\bootsect.exe file off a boot, however upon booting off the Vista DVD and opening a command prompt, you can't access the optical drive's \boot\ folder as many Microsoft KB's suggest.

Any advice on what I'm doing wrong?
