Vista Ultimate 64 (Code 39) CD Drives not working anymore

Is anyone else getting this error? Code 39 where the OS can't load the device driver for the cd/dvd-rom drives and even magicdisc?

It was working fine about two days ago.

Look it up on Microsoft's KB... I believe it says the solution is for XP, but it will work for Vista too. I've had the same problem twice myself in Ultimate 64-bit.

You just delete a few registry entries and reboot and it's all good.
