Want a Wide Screen LCD - How will games be tho..

I want one of the new dell wide screen LCD's . I havent decided on which one I want to get yet. My main concern is games. How will games look. I dont want them be smushed.... if you know what im saying...

I thought about this for awhile but with the newer games coming out you'll be just as happy with a 19 without a hinder in performance.

funny enough a lot of older games work fine in widescreen, ie if you're able to add custom resolutions in config files you can quite easily use 16:10 resolutions and the games scale the hud and create a viewport that's widescreen looks good. got to the www.widescreengamingforum.com for info on how to enable widescreen on your favourite games and yes a lot of newer games are out of the box supporting widescreen displays in their config pages, eg WOW, HL2.
