hello forumgoers. this is my first hot deal posted here at [H], be kind pls :D

sidewinder computers has the thermalright v-1 ultra for a very low $12.95 + ship

SVC also has the v-1 ultra for $14.99 + ship


i have bought from both companies on a regular basis and can attest to their reputable nature and quick shipment. sidewinder usually has cheaper shipping on the lighter stuff, but i included the SVC link in case it ends up being lower for somebody else. this part is really cheap right now because thermalright recently introduced the updated all copper incarnation of this cooler, but don't be put off! the v-1 ultra is a very strong hsf solution.

FYI i have no idea how long these sales will last.

I'm also amused by this. :)
6800 AGP was native, as were 6800GT/GS and Ultra. The PCIe GT/Ultra were the ones with an HSI, and this was integrated into the same substrate anyway.
 
yeah i have no idea whats up with the compatibility for this thing. i would have gotten one otherwise, but obviously my gfx card isn't on the list.

maybe the mounting holes are the same but resistors or caps get in the way? i dunno :confused:
