Seagate External 300GB Drive (7200rpm), with both FireWire (IEEE 1394) and USB 2.0, for $199.99 after $80 in rebates (2x $40)...
some may say this isn't a hot deal, but an external drive can be very handy since its easily moved from one machine to another. its a lot easier than burning a few dozen DVDs to move a few gigs to your friends.
the dual interface is a bonus too. I'm not sure if it has FireWire 400 or 800 though, you'd have to check Seagates website. its model # ST3300801CB-RK.
