WD WD3200AAKS Not booting all of a sudden.

Guys my drive crashed last night. Though it was working absolutely fine without any hitch but today morning when i turned on my Pc the drive is missing. I tried replug the wires of sata and power cable but problem persists.

What other things i can check ? Is there anyway to recover this dead drive?

Please help me out thanks.:confused:
 
If the BIOS doesn't recognize the drive it's dead and there's nothing you can easily do for repair.

You could try and swap the PCB but there's no guarantee.

Try backing-up the drive next time. ;)

Does the motor sound like it spins up? If so does it make a constant clicking sound for at least a few seconds when it is just powered up and you are still in the bios?
