westinghouse 24" cutting out while using HDMI?

So yea, as the title says I have a 24" westinghouse LCD that likes to go blank for about 3 seconds before it comes back on while I use the HDMI. It doesn't lose power, it just seems like it will lose signal for a second and take a second to come back on..

Anyone have a problem like this before? I got the damn thing on ebay and this is how it came.. I've contacted the seller and he said he didn't have the problem. I asked for the original receipt and I am still waiting for a response.

I don't believe it's the cable as I've used this cable many times and it never posed an issue on any device. I've tried spare cables and it doesn't seem to matter.

Any thoughts?

It's happened a few times to me before too. Rarely since I've had it, but it has happened.

I never had HDMI cut out on my with my Westinghouse L2410NM.

If this continues and happens more often, it will likely fail eventually.

It's happened to me a lot too. Other times, the screen would turn pink/red.

... I gave up on the hdmi and switched to d-sub.

I used to get flashes of red and pink all the time over HDMI and now they have stopped and only occur once a couple weeks. Still annoying nonetheless...

Does this not happen to you in D-Sub now?
