MSI Radeon 9800 pro 128 with R60 core (xt speeds pretty much garunteed) - $199
MSI Radeon 9800 pro 128 with R60 core (same card -> refurb from newegg) - $175
Asus Radeon 9800 XT 256 (FS/FT forums, possibly bargain price down) - $260
PNY geforce 6800NU 128 (buy.com preorder, assuming it works) $250
or a regular 9800 pro for like 160-180 (refurb or used fs/ft)
I would like to spend as little as possible, $200 or under was my goal, so 2 of those cards are very iffy, and really need to be worth it.
I would be keeping this card for at least a year.
My system specs are below, but im upgrading to 1GB of Kingmax pc3500, and expect to OC my processor to 2.4 (hopefully)
So yeah ill be playing Doom 3, HL2 on this machine note: i probably will keep my 9600pro untill doom 3 is out, aug5, and see how well it runs after the new ram is in, and read benchmarks to make a final decision, jsut wondering waht you guys think
