I have a Geforce 440MX SE 128MB

I wish to upgrade and am extraordinarily cheap

I wish to choose between the 6800XE , X1550, and X1650

X1650 costs a lot of money though

well, one's options are limited, but I believe Etch-a-Sketch has an excellent product on the market

or if you're serious, probably a 7600.. maybe a used 8500 if you're feeling bold?

I have an X1550 pci-e in my second computer. It is actually a pretty decent card for most games pre-2004. It can even play Doom 3 with reduced settings.

i'd say X1950 pro or 7600GT if you can get one, and if you have the money...

your in the US right? cos i saw some 7900's in a store near me for less than $200 (sorry, AUD not USD)

If I had $200 I would have purchased a 3850HD AGP. As an added bonus, it plays HD movies for me which my 2600+ can't do well.

I'm with soundguy. You should be aiming at a 7600 GT or X1950 Pro. Still good performers and, at this point in time, at a great price.

If you're looking used, 7600GT, 9800xt, x8xx series are all pretty awesome. If you can stretch the budget a bit, then get the x1950 pro
