What is a decent laptop that can run Source games?

Im looking for a laptop to travel with to another country but I dont wanna sacrifice gaming, otherwise I will take my desktop.

Anyway I just want it to run source games decently and I am looking for sub-$1000 notebooks.

Is this an unrealistic goal?

I was hoping the HP tx1000z with the Geforce Go 6150 would be enough and having tablet features would be great for note taking.
 
wow that is a pretty good deal but I was hoping for a 14in, then again I guess its a worthy sacrifice to save some money,

is the x1400 option worth the $50 premium over the stock 7300?
 
all i ever had are nvidia cards in my laptops. btw u do have a choice between xp and vista with the dell deal.
 
I was taking a look at it and it seems they are charging $800 for a XP laptop but if you get a vista equipped latop its in the $600 range.

I guess they are trying to really promote vista
