I currently have aw9d max
corsair pc2 6400 2GB ram ...rated @ 4-4-4-12
and core 2 duo e6600 2.4ghz. cooled with 9500 zalman
I have it running at 2997Mhz.... 9x333....4:3
memory @4-4-4-10
Its very stable at this speed. I cant seem to go higher ..... I have an option to exchange the ram with the Corsair pc2 8500 ram. rated @ 5-5-5-15
Should i exchange it or keep this ram. Will it be slower that my current ram at those timings? Please advise.. Thanks.
