What kind of site is this and where do I learn it?

Hey guys,

I want to build a simple site much like the one seen here.

I have designed simple sites that looked good like that but were just simple HTML.


How are these guys getting the animation effect when you click on "VISUALS" or "PEOPLE"?


I just need to know what it is called and a basic explanation and I'm confident I could teach myself how to build a simple homepage such as this.

It called an "accordion" menu. You can do that quite easily with a little CSS and a javascript library like jQuery, Prototype, etc..http://docs.jquery.com/UI/Accordion
