What to do/dispose of old laptops

I have a ton of old laptops that I need to dispose of, some barely work and others don't. Most are about 5-8 years old. What would you guys recomend? I was thinkin of just calling one of these people on craigslist.
 
Make digital picture frames out of them and give them away or keep them. There area a few sites that describe the process.
 
Sell them cheap on cl as a bundle.

put them on the curb and let the tech scavengers get it
 
Old laptops still sell on eBay. Why not make a few bucks on them. Even damaged ones still sell for decent money to be used for parts.
 
If you have any Macs, they hold their value fairly well and could be worth something to someone else, especially since parts for them are so expensive.
 
Donate ones that work, recycle/sell non working ones.
