Where did the nview desktop manager go?

I just cant find any where in the drivers to find it. Did nvidia discontinue it on drivers past 185.85
 
?? I don't think they got rid of the system tray app. Have you turned it on in the View option in the control panel?
 
Please hold, I just got my new card, (up from a MX440/8500gt - > 9600GSO) recently, and I forgot the DVI/VGA adaptor. I'll check tonight (expected delivary time).
 
mx440? i use that in my main tv display comp. Its old but it gets the job done.
 
I cannot find the system tray app. I've combed over the nVidia drivers (191.07) on 7 x64.

The right click menu is still there, just no tray app.
 
Ok try going into the nvidia control panel go to the the view option and see if there is an option that says: SHOW NOTIFICATION TRAY ICON.

For me i use xp so it might not be there under win7
 
Yeah... it's probably just XP. 7 has no options, unfortunately. I liked having something there, oh, well.
 
It's there on vista too.

but as I recall from the last time I was running 7, there is no icon down there for that.
