I currently have a Western Digital Raptor WD740ADFD (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136033) and a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31000340AS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148274), and at the moment have Vista/games installed on the Raptor.

I was reading Bit-Tech today, and saw an article on the VelociRaptor 300gb (http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/storage/2009/03/06/western-digital-velociraptor-300gb-review/6), and some of those tests made it look like my Barracuda would be a faster drive, however I am not 100% sure either one of my HDD's were actually represented in that chart.

I would appreciate any advice I can get regarding which hard drive would be fastest to use for my OS/games. Thanks for any help!

Raptor is just as good as others.. If you want significant performance increase, then go with SSD.

RAID array is another option though.

Could you re-read my question please?
I am asking if my Raptor or Barracuda would provide faster performance in games/OS

Well, of course Raptor would provide faster performance. Barracuda can't beat Raptor in access times.
