which key for safe mode biostar motherboard.

i have a machine that f8 does not get into safe mode. anyone know which key it might be ? i dont have model motherboard just yet im trying to do some maleware scans and dont know which key to enter safe mode with. any help appreciated.

Mobo manufacturer makes no difference once the OS kernel loads. If this is onboard video use a standalone videocard as I suspect that the IGP is not intialising video before the boot mode option selection times out.

Is your 'F' lock on? If it's not on during boot-up, none of your 'F' keys are gonna work...
