which of these air coolers would you recommend for possibly heavily overclocked core i5-2500k? i'd like to get maximum of processor while still keeping cooler relatively silent.

NZXT HAVIK 140
Zalman CNPS11X Extreme
Scythe Mugen 3
Noctua NH-C14

other recommendations are welcome.

i'm not sure about different airflow of the Noctua cooler and how it would react with the airflow in the case.

I understand the CM Hyper 612 PWM is pretty damn good, same with the Thermaltake Macho HR-02, and both are fairly inexpensive.

Thermaltake Frio is on sale right now for $49 at amazon with free super saver shipping. With fans on low its very quiet.

Get the Noctua, I'd personally grab the NH-D14 if I were you, though. I have one, it keeps my i5-2500k @ 4.5ghz idle 23c, load 65c with prime95. 1.3v on the CPU as well, haven't really bothered to try to go higher though.

You'll likely see temps about 1 - 3c higher than ambient at idle with the NH-D14. I also used the paste that came with the heatsink (instead of a5), so with some a5 it may be even better, who knows.
