What should I get, is 667 with higher latency better than 533 with lower latency? Also what brand uses better memory chips? Here's some of the cheaper ones I've found,

I plan to overclock, but that really shouldn't make a difference since the memory timings can be locked right? Oh, and yes I've been searching over the board for this info, so thanks for any help.

wait. i'm confused. the ddr2-533 you have listed is 4-4-4 timings. the g.skill ddr2-667 is also 4-4-4?

also, it appears you're kinda on a budget? how long do you plan to keep these?

I meant the corsiar is higher. I know Corsair is recomended by Asus for this mobo, but G skill isn't listed so I don't know how good it is. I plan on keeping it for quite a while. I would like to spend as little as possible but having good memory is a higher priority than cost.

Well I looked at the manual and Newegg didn't state this board would use ddr2 400, but after looking at some other websites they show ddr2 400 working with it. I already have a gig of it in my Dell so hopefully it'll work. I read comarisons between 533 and 677 and there was only about .10-1 fps difference so maybe 400 will be fine.

i think it depends more on the FSB of your cpu that you're getting.. ;)
i take it you don't plan on doing much oc'ing?
