Which ram for my new z77 build

So I was contemplating using 4x4 samsung's because they over clock well, but 1. I don't know if 16 will be enough, and 2. I don't really need oc'd ram, just 1600 will be fine. What would you recommend If i wanted a 2x8 or 4x8 GB setup?
