Who is shipping core i7 D0's?

MicroCenter has them, Fry's too probably. You have to ask. I bought an i7 920 from newegg last week and it was still C0 stepping.

Any news on the places that are selling D0's yet?

What news? If they have any D0 in stock, you mean? On those vendors who don't check their stock, it's still a hit and miss. On those the actually inventory D0, they charge $300 per CPU.

how can I tell whether I have a D0 chip?

do I have to remove it and physically look, or is there somewhere on the options/software that lists this info?

Without looking at the CPU, if you look on the outside of the box, there's a section with an S-spec numbering, if it's SLBEJ, then it's D0. If it's SLBCH, then it's C0.

stepping says 4

revision right underneath that says co/c1

soooo....no I guess....

and the box, this was a premade ssytem...(dell) so dunno if it would be on that box...or in any of the literature.

thanks
