Who needs D9GMH !

I have a Patriot 5300 2GB DDR2 kit that I purchased from the egg awhile back for $159 after rebate and today I decided to take off the sinks and they turned out to be D9 HCT or something like that but they are definitely not GMH. I don't have a camera with me.

But they overclock really well considering they are not GMH. 500 mhz 2M superpi stable and orthos stable. My previous settings were at 400mhz 4-4-4-12 1M superpi in 17 seconds. Very impressive RAM. I remember getting these to 520 mhz with a e6300 a few months ago. However, I heard these patriots are not D9 anymore? They're replaced by Elpida now?

you mean D9DCT? it's the same thing as D9GMH, just the next lower bin... also the same chip as D9GKX. they all overclock well ;)

but to be honest, 500mhz at 5-5-5? you can do a LOT better my friend :D
