Hi all,
I'm about to buy my first LCD... and I've read that using a digital connection is superior to analog. So, looking at my 6800GT specs, it seems the max resolution on digital is 1600x1200. The eVGA version is the same, so I'm curious as to what you widescreen folks are using for graphics cards to support 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 resolutions on digital. Or are you just using analog?
As a side note, I've read enough to understand that digital has more bandwidth capability than analog, and is much clearer. Why, then, does analog go up to 2048x1536 while digital is stuck at 1600x1200 on a 6800GT ? Seems it should be the other way around
