Will it fit ...... before I make an order

In a few days I need to order a card for a friend

We built his system in this HP case

Still a toss up between both of these cards ..

right now his rig has an Athlon X4 630 8 gigs Corsair 400W

the screen is running at 1366 x 768

wow cataclysm will be the main game being played
 
Yes, either of those cards will fit inside that case. The 6770 is a little shorter, so it'll be an easier fit and it's slightly more powerful than the 450. Just make sure you have a 6 pin PCIe connector available (the CX400 does, but I don't know exactly which PSU you have), or enough amperage to support a dual molex to 6 pin adapter. You'll probably be ok with that 400w, but the suggested PSU is 450. If you experience erratic shutdowns, blinks offs, or random restarts, then you know it's time to get a more meaty PSU.

lol, that's actually why I took the job. It's the easiest way for me to shine and look good when promotions become available :)
