Will these be able to run...

What do you guys think... will any of the current generation cards be able to run Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 with all the eye candy turned on? What I'm hoping is that these cards will be able to run these games at around 1024x768 with all the candy on (don't really care if I can't get AA or AF) so that way I don't have to upgrade again.

Can you run Far Cry? If you can then you will be able to run HL2. Hell they were giving away free HL2 coupons with the 9600XT. So yes you will be able to run that game. Doom 3 should be the same way.

Here's an idea of how last year's Half Life 2 beta runs on this generation and the top of the line last generation cards with all the eye candy on:

Performance will likely significantly increase for all boards for the final release.... Looks very playable to me even in beta form.
