Will this motherboard support my CPU?

Hi,

I have an Intel E3-1260L cpu which is quite rare.
I'd like to find a motherboard that will support it.
The motherboard must have an Intel NIC, and support Intel integrated HD graphics.
I found this board here: GA-Q77M-D2H.
However, my CPU doesn't appear in the supported CPU list, but it's quite close - all Xeons of that generation are on the list, except the E3-1260L.

What does it mean? is that list definitive, or does it simply mean my CPU hasn't been tested with the board?

Thanks.

Since these processors don't appear in retail channels you might have better luck looking at supermicro boards. CPU's are awfully shortened listing compared to memory but most manufacturers do properly list ones that are guaranteed to be supported however they may omit your non standard (oem) processors despite compatibility. Since it is an oem you'll more or so be on your own.
