Hi i have the following setup listed in my sig.

My question is will my PC6400 OCZ ram rated at 800 MHz work fine with a q9450 rated at 1333mhZ FSB in concert with my mobo an ASUS P5B-e.( i know that asus supports this cpu so the only question is whather the memory will work or do i have to get a set of pc8500's)

the fsb of the cpu is 333, dunno wat the multiplier is at this time though.

In 1:1 (Synced mode) PC6400 Ram can support 400Mhz FSB (1600) before even begining to need to be overclocked. As long as you run in Dual channel your FSB won't be starved.

So yes it's perfectly fine.

I second that. If your goal is to "max out" your memory, the 8500 is a good option; but if your going to go with air / water cooling, it should hold up just fine.
