Maybe this is a simple question but I've always hated working with transferring files in windows...
I need to reinstall a version of windows 7 but I want to keep all the programs, files, settings. Is there any way to do this? It is currently windows 7 home premium and I want to install the same version again. There are some real bugs from an earlier install.
I currently have windows 7 installed on a separate drive. Can I just format that drive and reinstall windows? Will the programs still work without having to reinstall everything?
