Before Windows 7 I had XP (like most people), and I'd output dvi -> hdmi 1080p fine with no issues at all. Ever since the move to Windows 7 I've been unable to get stable video on my HDTV. I've tried multiple resolutions, various other refresh rates all with the same results. The problem is video shows but then every few seconds it will reset then come back on.
The only thing that I can think of is this could be related to HDCP? I notice it in the Nvidia control panel now where as on XP I didn't (I believe its a Vista/7 feature). Anyone have any insight into this issue? Its highly frustrating
I have a 42" Westinghouse TX-42F430S.
ps: I've tried replacement cables, and the HDCP in the Nvidia control panel shows a green check mark and states its compatible and fine.
