Windows: Manually Add/Remove a new service

Hey,

I just downloaded the IdleRPG bot for my IRC channel and was trying to find out how to run it as a service so I don't have a DOS prompt open all of the time.

I see a lot of third party programs often used for malicious intent but can't find anything on google about how to install a new service manually. Is it possible? I feel like such a noob

Agh, I lied.

I have it installed as a service, but the bot isnt connecting to IRC or joining the channel.

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\IdleRPG\Paramaters

AppDirectory c:\\idlerpg\\
Application perl bot.pl

The service starts successfully, but, yeah.. nothing is happening :/

I checked the event viewer for any information, but theres nothing helpful in it.

Any ideas?
