Windows MCE? Watch Movies w/o boot?

does MCE give you the power to watch Movies w/o having to boot into windows?

also, if it does, would i be able to use my speakers? sound card powered up? or just the dvd drive and monitor?
 
It does not support this, however some newer laptop manufacturers like Toshiba have implemented this into their products.

yeah i'm thinking about getting a HP or Dell's E105

wow, i never knew that was possible on laptops. i guess it would really save on laptop battery life.

any models in particular that support this now?
