Hello,

What is the consencus on wireless keyboards and mouses, not neceserily in one package.
It would be dope to get a nice "natural" one since thats all i used since day one. (10 years now) but those only exist with severe limitations.
I'd rather have bluetooth, but its more expensive. is it that much better?
Will I have control during a fresh install? How about in safe mode?
I'm assuming that the bluetooth or wireless reciever is usb ?
The microsoft one with fingerprint scanner

looks nice, but not bluetooth and a little chunky compared to the buetiful and expensive logitech dinovo

Lets hear your input.

I use a Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop comfort edition but ditched the included wireless mouse for a Logitech MX-1000 laser mouse. Both have USB receiver/recharger. They are plug and play and work in safe mode.

I looked at the Logitech bluetooth keyboard and mouse but I couldn't see when a 30 foot range would ever be useful. You can't see what you type from that distance and definitely can't see the mouse arrow to manipulate a DVD menu or a game. With bluetooth, you may pay extra for range that you really can't use.

schapman...
I've been thinking of buying that combo, do you like the mouse? Does it ever drop the signal? (either the keyboard or the mouse)

I have a laptop with bluetooth built in will a bluetooth mouse work without the reciever that comes with it. for exsample could i use the mx900 without the receiver/charger thing? I know it would need to charge but would it work with my laptops receiver?
