My old Logitech MX700 loved the cloth surface of my couch. It was dead-on accurate.
I had to get a new wireless keyboard/mouse because my keyboard died (and I hated the charging station thing - makes it almost impossible to move from machine to machine), and I've tried several Logitech setups and a Kensington. They were all the same invisible laser technology with a usb dongle. Both were fantastic in every way compared to my old MX700 except for one thing: they are innaccurate on my couch. I have to put a book underneath them. On a book, they are just as sharp as my old mouse.
What am I missing here?
