HI All,
I need a program to view and connect to wireless networks.
The machine is running win2k, and the drivers are installed, but I have no software to view wireless networks.
Thanks.

I have an Atheros AR5006EG Wireless Adapter and netstumbler states it can't find the wireless device.

How can I get NetStumbler to recognize my Wireless adapter?

thanks

Netstumbler shows available networks, but doesn't let me connect to anything.

I picked up something else, but the name eludes me at the moment. Will post what it is after I get into work.

Windows 2000 didn't have any tools built in for connecting to Wireless networks. Your best bet is the software that came with the wireless card.

After Windows XP SP2 came out the Wireless manufacturers stopped making decent software for connecting to Wireless networks. Prior to SP2 though most of the software was better than Microsoft's stuff.

Insecure.org has lots of information.

I also vote for Netstumbler. Easy to use and easy to set up. Kismet has better scanning abilities, but I have yet to figure out how to use it :(
