Ok, I am not asking about a wireless network card, or anything, but is there a product where a transmitter plugs into an RJ45 jack and a receiver also plugs into an RJ45, and is able to communicate between each other so instead of plugging in a cat5e cable between the two devices and being corded its now wireless?? Now you might be asking why?? Well a friend asked me if such a product existed, because his guitar pedal and amp can be connected to each other via RJ45 and come with cat5e cables, so he asked me if he can make it wireless, and to which I responded I am not sure.

I googled but haven't come up with anything, so I thought I would ask here, maybe some one else has tried something like this as well, figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. So the question is does something like this exist??

and yes I did tell him even is such a product exists, it still might not work.....

Avoiding the usual wireless gear (routers, access points, bridges, ect..) I don't think so. But I could be wrong.
