WQUXGA Screens? (3840x2400)

I'm looking for a screen that outputs this that isn't discontinued, or multipanel. Ideally I'd like something in the 30" range.

That rules out the VP2290B since it's not made anymore. Of course it'd need to be dualdvi to work with todays video cards.

I'm thinking they simply don't exist?

They practically don't exist, the closest you see these days are Quad-1080p or "4k x 2k" (3840 x 2160) displays which are 56"+ in size and will run you upwards of $50,000. e.g. this

Your only real options are to hunt down a used IBM T220/T221 or the VP2290B you mentioned.
