The information in the lower left of the drive's sticker hopefully will also show Mfg Date around 10-OCT-2006, Made in Singapore.
The logic board on my drive died (damn you Maxtor!) and I'm hoping a swap will allow me to recover the data.
Please, if you have one of these drives sell it to me before you suffer the same fate!
