WTB: RAID Controller PCIE X8 6GBPS

Hello all.

I am looking for a 3Ware / LSI / Adaptec / Areca RAID controller that can handle 8 SATA3 (6GBPS) drives using PCIE interface. I need the card for a desktop in order to get away from using the onboard SATA controller, so this RAID card is not going into a server and will not handle mission critical applications. The vendors I listed are the ones that I have seen mentioned around the web and are not exclusive.

I have the following card for sale with SAS to SATA Cables

Dell Perc H200 Raid Controller PCI-E X8, 6gb/s Sata support
Has 2ea SAS connectors and will come with 1ea SAS to 4 Sata cable
Asking $68 shipped

this is the same card as the 9211-8i or the 9220-8i.

I pulled it from my working server and decided to use an HP P410 due to the battery backup and large cache

That's a pretty darn good price. I just got a LSI SAS2008, which is basically the same card, and it was $12 more and came with no cable. I shopped around a quite a bit to find it that cheap too...
