I have had a nu 082 dvd burner for about 6 months and it is pitching a bitch now-a-days. It plays, rips, burns dvds just fine, but it won't recognize cds anymore or recognize blank cds (verbatim dlp) to burn them. This is not just with burned cds or blanks either, it does it with game cds too! It just says to insert a disk into drive. I have a liteon 32x12x40 or such cd burner that i have had for a long ass time that works just fine still. All of this is runnin on an abit nf7-s 2.0 with a 2600+mobile oc'd to 2.6ghz on water. What sucks is that if it is a hardware problem I can't rma cuz I painted the drive face to match my lovely pc
