X-Fi for Notebooks

You're missing the big picture. :) This means that Creative is finally getting the X-Fi to work with PCI Express. :D (I mean shipping, not just press-released.)
 
Ahhh very true. That would be quite awesome for all those who have plenty of lonely, unused PCI-E slots.
