hmm... trying to decide whether i should pickup a crossfire motherboard or resell these cards. OH, and i already have a HIS x1900xt
 
Buy a Asus A8R32-MVP show you can see what graphics are all about.

Mine ain't. It runs, and it hauls ass in 3d with Crossfire 1900's...but USB is borked, audio is borked, it doesn't OC as well as my Abit AN8-32X, won't go past 270 HT (with the latest BIOS), and so on.
 
Well DFI boards are ALWAYS going to be iffy. I'm especially unhappy with their Crossfire releases, which have gained a notorious reputation for overvolting RAM and processors to a deadly degree. On the other hand, the A8R32-MVP seems to be a star performer.

Seems to be a great board overall. That's the one I would go with. And also, to answer your initial question, I would sell the ATI X1900XT and just run Crossfire with the HiS X1900XT that you already have.
