X2 vs Phenom (where are they equal?)

I currently have an x2 5000+ black edition at 3.2GHz. I am wondering at what point am i going to see similar performance between what I have now and phenom in say like team fortress 2, world in conflict, and call of duty 4.

I'm hoping to hold out for the phenom 45nm's in a couple months, but at what speed will i need to look at to have at least the same performance before overclocking or what not?

i cant imagine the Phenoms being much better than the high end X2's honestly in real world performance
