x800gto2 NO pcie power?

I bought a refurbished x800gto2 from newegg about a week ago, it arrived today and it was in good shape. However it did not come with a PCIE connecotr on the card i purchased on figuring i needed one.. Is this odd i thought they all needed the extra power.

It doesn't use enough power to need an extra one.. It pulls its power from the pci-e power.

hmm i guess i cant OC it as much since its r430 core also.. I got it to 450/540 then it starts to crap out

yup you got a 2nd generation. true gto card and not a xt in disguise. i bought one the day newegg had them mine unlocked but didnt clock worth shit with eather a arctic cooler or a maze4 water block. its to bad you didnt get a real one
