Xeon 5140 or 5150 compatible with socket 755?

Just a quick question. I'm going to inherit couple of servers from work and one of the could be one with xeon 5140 or 5150 depends on which server. Are they compatible with S755 motherboard? I know some of xeons are but not sure about this one.
 
No, they're not compatible with LGA 775 (I assume that's what you meant), you'll need a dual 771 board for them, 5000, 5100 or 5400 chipset. 5000 and 5400 are FB-Dimm, 5100 is registered ecc DDR2.
 
ha ha yeah 775 not 755. I haven't had my coffee yet at that time, all the VPN and user issues plus I was just staring at my workstation which is Optiplex 755. That's probably why I wrote 755. :) I guess I've gotta gut it from 1U and mod some other case to fit them. I can't stand noise 1U makes for home use. lol
